Hi, my name is Darya Koblik. I'm a photographer based in Zurich, Switzerland.
Photography is my passion, a way of expressing an artistic part of me and capturing the beauty of the world around. I was always a creative person, but it is in photography that I truly found myself. I started taking photos with my first Canon DSLR in 2012, since then participated in workshops and took courses which helped to grow professionally and open new horizons.
I specialize in portrait, beauty, glamour, boudoir and food photography.
I absolutely love portrait photography and enjoy meeting new people. Isn't it amazing how wonderfully different we all are? The Goal for me as a photographer is capturing the inner world of the person, character, mood, habits, feelings and their unique beauty. I cannot stop being astonished at how a simple change of the look in a person's eyes or a light turn of the head can dramatically change the picture and make it a true portrait telling you more about the person than the words might.
Creative people inspire me. Working with talented people, who were so enthusiastic about the art of cooking, made it impossible for me not to fall in love with food photography.
What I like about street photography is that it is all about catching the moment and being at the right place and right time. It teaches you to notice things that you will most probably pass by in everyday life without paying attention.
